This project, titled The Lighthouse, was another deep dive into Adobe Illustrator during my early training. The main goal here was purely technical. I wanted to see if I could take a vector-based tool and create something that felt truly atmospheric and grounded.
I focused heavily on mastering lighting and complex gradients to capture that specific, moody coastline vibe. Even though it started as a practice piece to sharpen my technical skills, I was honestly surprised by how much life and realism the final image took on. It’s one of those projects that really showed me early on how much depth you can achieve when you move past the basics and start pushing the software to its limits.
